Research & Analysis
I began by mass sketching and reduced to my strongest five ideas. I researched the ergonomics and safety requirements for my target age group, following user observation to identify play preferences of _ year olds.
Development
Created and tested two toy prototypes, analyzed my findings, then proceeded with CAD design to create my final toy
Fabrication
After multiple iterations, I created my 'hedgehog' using 3D printed PLA and finished using spackle and a variety of spray finishes. Magnets were installed into each "spike" to for a stronger connect to the body, as well as the bottom opening.
